Steppin’ Out and The Dimock Center

Originally founded in 1862 as the New England Hospital for Women and Children, The Dimock Center provides vital services and programs to thousands of Boston residents and families each year. For nearly a quarter of a century, Steppin’ Out has provided direct financial support to Dimock’s Adult and Pediatric Health Services, Child and Family Programs, Behavioral Health Services and Residential programs. As a treasured Boston tradition and one of the City’s most talked about evenings, Steppin’ Out is a high energy night filled to the brim with sounds ranging from Jazz and Gospel to R&B and Latin Music.


Steppin’ Out 2011 will feature five “clubs” featuring music by Grammy-Winning Diva Oleta Adams; the World-Renowned Harlem Gospel Choir, legendary Salsa group, Spanish Harlem Orchestra; & direct from HBO’s ground-breaking series ‘Treme’, New Orleans’ own Henry Butler and Glen David Andrews.
